Scripting the Soap: Clear your mind, pour out your heart
Scripting the soap is a scriptwriting workshop for international AYAs from all cultural and ethnical backgrounds who want to get together and share stories. Together we will transform stories into fiction. A script for a soap, a drama, a crime show... anything is possible.
- Do you ever play scenes in your imagination?
- Do you hear a dramatic voice-over?
- If you were to let your imagination run wild… what would happen?
- You can express everything in a script for a drama series
Scripting the Soap – a course in script writing – is the first phase of our project, which aims to create an online fiction series that shares AYA stories with the world.
The weekly script writing workshops started on May 3rd 2026 with a wonderful group of Holland-based international AYA’s and will continue until the end of summer. Their creativity and imagination are magic. Next phase is a Writers Room in which we will develop the best ideas which emerged of phase one.
